Jaynstar (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website https://jaynstar.com and mobile applications published under the Jaynstar and V2Games brands.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website or apps.

  • Website: jaynstar.com (including member/login areas, contact forms, and the browser game at jaynstar.com/slither/)

  • Mobile apps, including:

    • Slither Star (Google Play: com.jaynstar.slither_star)

    • V2Games Run (Google Play: com.Jaynstar.V2GamesRun)

    • Other current and future Jaynstar / V2Games Android apps

Not every section applies to every product. Website login accounts are separate from our casual games (see Section 3).

 

3. Information We Collect

 

A. Information you provide directly

Website (jaynstar.com)
If you create an account or use contact forms on our website, we may collect:

Slither Star app and browser game
No account is required to play. You may optionally enter a display name (nickname) for gameplay and leaderboards. This is not linked to your website login account unless you choose the same name.

B. Information collected automatically — Website

When you visit jaynstar.com, we or our service providers may collect:

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system

  • Pages viewed, referring URLs, date/time of visit

  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)

The browser version of Slither Star (jaynstar.com/slither/) may display ads through Google AdSense. Google may collect device and usage data for advertising as described in Section 5.

C. Information collected automatically — Mobile apps

Depending on the app and features enabled, we or third-party partners may collect:

Slither Star (com.jaynstar.slither_star)

  • No account required — play immediately without registering

  • Local storage: high scores, game settings, coins, achievements, daily reward progress — on your device until you clear data or uninstall

  • Leaderboard (optional): if you play online rankings, we send your display name, score, kills, and length to our server (jaynstar.com/slither-api) — no email or website account required

  • Advertising: Google AdMob banners, interstitial ads on game over, and optional rewarded ads to continue playing

  • In-app purchase: “Remove Ads” one-time purchase via Google Play — processed by Google; we do not receive your payment card details

  • Purchase restore: on reinstall, the app checks Google Play to restore Remove Ads (same Google account)

 

V2Games Run (com.Jaynstar.V2GamesRun)

Stores last score and best score on your device. If AdMob is enabled, Google may collect advertising data as in Section 5.

D. Information we do not intentionally collect

Through our casual games we do not intentionally collect:

  • Precise GPS location

  • Contacts, photos, microphone, or SMS

  • Government ID, payment card numbers, or health data

Website account areas may collect email for login — that applies only when you use those website features.

 

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  1. Operate, maintain, and improve our website and apps

  2. Provide gameplay features (scores, leaderboards, live game content)

  3. Process in-app purchases through Google Play

  4. Respond to support requests

  5. Show advertisements (Google AdMob in apps, Google AdSense on web)

  6. Measure ad and app performance

  7. Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues

  8. Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

 

5. Advertising

 

Google AdMob (Android apps — Slither Star, V2Games Run, etc.)

When AdMob is used, Google may collect and process:

  • Android Advertising ID (AAID)

  • IP address (approximate location)

  • Device identifiers and device information

  • App and ad interactions (impressions, clicks)

  • Diagnostic data related to ads

Uses: serve and measure ads; personalized or non-personalized ads where permitted by law.

Remove Ads: Users who purchase Remove Ads in Slither Star will not see AdMob ads in that app.

Google AdSense (Website — jaynstar.com/slither/)

The browser game may show AdSense display ads. Google may collect similar advertising data. See Google’s partner sites policy below.

Your choices

EEA / UK: Where required by law, we will use appropriate consent for personalized advertising.

Children: Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Target audience is 13 and older. Website login and games are separate; parents should supervise children’s use of the internet.

jaynstar.com uses cookies for essential operation, preferences, and analytics (if enabled). You can control cookies in your browser. Website login sessions may use cookies to keep you signed in.

 

9. Data Retention

  • Support emails: up to 2 years

  • Leaderboard entries: until removed or periodically cleared

  • Ad/analytics data: per Google’s retention policies

  • Local game data: on your device until you clear app data or uninstall

  • Website accounts: while your account is active

 

10. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method is 100% secure.

 

11. International Transfers

Service providers (including Google) may process data outside Australia (e.g. United States), with appropriate safeguards where required.

 

12. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold by emailing help@jaynstar.com (subject: “Privacy Request”).

Australian users may contact the OAIC. EU/UK users may contact their supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal information.

 

13. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

If you believe a child provided personal information, contact help@jaynstar.com and we will delete it.

 

14. Google Play Data Safety

For each Play Store app, our Data safety form matches this policy. For Slither Star with AdMob, typical declarations include: Device or other IDs, App activity, Diagnostics — collected/shared by Google for advertising; optional purchase data via Google Play.

 

15. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last Updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
